Choreographer’s Note: Gods, Monsters and Legacies examines the range of possibilities for human connection in difficult times. It posits that we have within us both beauty and brutality, generosity and greed. It is an invitation to investigate our values, to unpack the mythologies and folklores necessary for survival. In response to the Nigerian proverb, “in the moment of crisis, the wise build bridges and the foolish build damns,” Gods, Monsters and Legacies demands wisdom.
