F.A.Q.’S
Can DiTD review my show?
We CAN review your show!
We also pride ourselves on transparency. Our reviews are fair and we excel at exploring the human angle as well as the artistic.
-We are busy, so we can’t always guarantee we will be able to accept every request.
-We don’t exchange money or favors for reviews.
-We ask two complimentary tickets, and access to show photos. (Which we will not reproduce outside of the review, and will credit the photographer.)

How do I get my own Artist Talk interview? / Can we collaborate on a promo/event/etc?
Interviews require more time, and we approach artists when we can.
While there are no hard set set parameters, we prioritize Women, Minority and LGBTQ artists.
For more information, write us! -> info@dancinginthedistrict.com
What are our values?
We are a minority-owned organization that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and the Arts. We are fiercely Pro-LGBTQ+, BLM, Women’s and Indigenous rights, as well as Pro-Choice. We vote Liberal, and we’re proud of it.
I heard you also film and photograph dance. Can you film / photograph my show / rehearsal?
Sure! Contact us! -> david@dancinginthedistrict.com
What is that “Accessibility” in the lower, right-hand corner?
This is an accessibility feature! Clicking it will open the box, allowing you to enlarge text, easily reveal links, and a few other features designed to make our website easier to read and navigate! Clicking on a “dash” will offer greater and lesser control over what you see!

What are these ads?
DiTD has to use ads to support it’s ongoing dedication to feature artists.
We also currently survive on donations, shirt sales and our soundtrack! Every purchase helps us to keep reporting and lifting up with artists!
How can I support the site??
First and foremost, you can go see some dance, and support some artists.
Secondly, you can buy a shirt!
Thirdly, you can buy our soundtrack album!
You can also donate via venmo! Donations help us pay for the website, and support our writers.
We would be very grateful if you could donate to the site to help us keep going. In return, we’ll be able to continue to give artists a fair platform, and an honest perspective of good.
