Support!
Dancing in the District operates at a high cost because we pay all of our writers and Artist Talk hosts.
We are firm believers in moving past the “work for free out of love for what you do” idea that is unfortunately very prevalent in the non-profit and Arts world.
Artists of all disciplines cannot create without funding. It is unsustainable and unkind.
You can help us continue to be the only source of filmed Artist Talks, reviews and more dance and theatre driven media. Nowhere else in the world is consistently offering what we are trying to do with unfiltered, opinionated, political, Reviews and Artist Talks.
There are many ways to support us!
- You can join our new Patreon!
Patreon is a place where creators like us offer up exclusive content and shout outs for those that sign-up for a monthly donation! We have tiers for any budget!
- You can buy a shirt!
You can help support us AND look pretty spiffy!
Right now we use Threadless, but will be printing our own shirts soon, which will bring the costs down!
Have a pic of you in a shirt? #DITDME and we’ll post it on our website!

- You can browse our Archive on Substack!
Our Archive includes a library of over 50 dance reviews and dance media articles going back to 2014, and we’re not even done adding them all!
- You can make a one-time donation!
Quick and easy! You support goes a long way and you’ll see it in every interview and article.
- You can share our Articles and Socials!
It’s free and every bit helps!
Thank you for your support!
